Uzbekistan and Mongolia to introduce electronic cargo transportation authorization system

The Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting of the Joint Uzbek-Mongolian Commission on International Road Transport. The event was attended by representatives of the transport departments of both countries, who discussed the prospects for the development of international transportation and measures to create favorable conditions for national carriers. The sides exchanged views on the current state of road transport and noted the significant potential for further expansion of cooperation in this area. As a result of the negotiations, it was decided to double the number of permit forms for 2025. Special attention was paid to the issues of digitalization of processes. In particular, the implementation of the E-Permit electronic permit exchange system was discussed, which will speed up and simplify cargo transportation procedures between the two countries.
