The Uzbek military takes part in counter-terrorism exercises in Pakistan.

The purpose of the exercise is to strengthen cooperation in ensuring international security, the ISPR reported.
A total of 20 countries participates, among them Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Bahrain, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Maldives, Morocco, Qatar, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey and others.
Azerbaijan, Belarus, China, Myanmar, Germany, Indonesia, Japan and Oman serve as military observers.
