Uzbekistan and China expand cooperation in pharmaceutical industry

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) - Director of the Agency for Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry Abdulla Azizov held a meeting with representatives of Xinjiang Tefeng Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., located in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of China.
During the meeting, the company's management presented information about its activities, production capacities and product range. It was emphasized that the company has significant experience in the production of both natural and synthetic medicines, holding a strong position in both the local and international markets.
The Director of the Agency acquainted the guests with the enormous potential of the pharmaceutical market of Uzbekistan, the resources of medicinal plants, as well as the conditions created for the localization of production.
Proposals were also presented regarding the possibilities of the Tashkent Pharma Park pharmaceutical cluster and the implementation of new investment projects in this area. The parties discussed the possibilities of expanding cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector, including joint development of research and production projects. At the end of the meeting, it was decided to continue negotiations on the most promising initiatives.
