Farmers will receive preferential loans for the purchase of drying shops and cold storage facilities

According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dated 04/12/2023 No. P-121, the allocation of 50 billion rubles is provided. sums for the purchase of drying shops and cold storage facilities at the expense of the Fund for the Support of farms, dehkan farms and owners of household lands.

At the same time, the loan is allocated to agricultural enterprises for a period of 84 months, including a grace period of up to 36 months, at a rate of 14 percent per annum.

It is envisaged that 60 percent of the loan amount will be secured by installed drying shops and cold storage facilities, 40 percent by insurance policies to insure the risk of non—repayment.
